Purchasing a painting

There is a flat shipping rate of US$60 for customers located in the United States and Canada and $200 for international customers. All applicable resale fee(s) and droit de suite laws apply to all purchases.
Purchases online are returnable within 5 days of painting(s) being received for a full refund minus shipping costs. Purchases damaged after receipt or during the shipping process cannot be returned or refunded in any part.
Purchases are only shipped via UPS for delivery in the United States and Canada and via FedEx for international delivery and can be sent 2-day or ground from 251 Church St Apt 43, Kingston, PA 18704-5333. Please allow up to 3 weeks for photography purchases. You will receive the tracking information via email. Please note that I'm unable to use private shippers. Purchases can't be shipped to PO Boxes or military addresses.
For purchases intended as gifts, please provide me with the recipient's name and I'll be happy to enclose a personalized note with the painting.
Commissioning a painting
I have been commissioned to paint for individuals and collectors. If you are interested in having something commissioned, please contact me via the Contact form with dominant color choice, any color(s) you do not want and whether you want a purely abstract painting or if you want an abstract landscape with such elements as water, trees, flowers and birds. Please include your name, email address, mailing address and phone number.
After we agree on the size, shape and dominant colors, visit the I Am A Butterfly Gallery to select the appropriate 50% Commission Deposit Add to Cart button to place your deposit (i.e., you want a 20"H x 16"W painting, so you click on the Commission Deposit button for that size). The deposit is not refundable in part or in whole. You'll click on the 50% Commission Balance Add to Cart button for that size just before I'm ready to ship the painting to finalize your purchase--I'll email you a photo of the finished painting; if you approve, you pay the balance and I ship it; if you don't approve, I keep the deposit and the painting). Pricing for commissioned paintings range from US$90.00 for the smallest size of 5"H x 7"W to US$1720.00 for the largest size of 36"H x 60"W. If you need larger than what I currently have, let me know and I can get back to you with the price. You will receive a US Postal Service money order or PayPal rebate for the discounted amount difference within 10 business days if your purchase has not been returned to me for a refund (example: 10% discount off a US$360.00 painting is US$36.00; you will receive a money order for US$36.00). The maximum discount, regardless of discount code, for "Truffula Trees" is 10%, no exceptions. Discounts do not apply to commissioned paintings, no exceptions. Active discounts at this time are as follows:
- Family and Friends: 25% discount; no expiration date; must be personally known to me for discount to be applied, no exceptions.
- Houzz Pros: 20% discount; no expiration date; must have valid Houzz pro page and be in good standing with the community for discount to be applied.
- Houzzers: 10% discount; no expiration date; must have valid Houzz user page and be in good standing with the community for discount to be applied.
